I've chosen to explore sparklers within this research task based on my ideas from task 8 surrounding counter-compositionals through the use of a temporary light source (see video 2). However I've also chosen to explore sparklers within this task as they link to my initial research based on electrical circuits as bulbs and circuits can break and explode due to variations in voltage (see video 1). The use of slowing the footage in video 2 has allowed me to focus on the the sparks created when an electrical circuit and bulbs blow a fuse. I've further explored this idea in video 1 through the exploration of movement within a sparkler which represents the energy flowing through a bulb in order to produce light.
