Secret 7: Feedback

In order to refine the final cover further I received feedback on my final designs (see figures 1-2) which was generally positive as many of my peers found the cover intriguing due to the interesting back story to the quote, preferring the option without 'Bryan Glancy' as it created a more intriguing cover due to the lack on context. Furthermore many of my peers referred the black and white option which reflects the morning process the band went through as it more effectively represented the tone of the song. It was also pointed out that I had made a small spelling mistake 'comming' instead of coming so this will be edited. Furthermore it was suggested that I could experiment with red and black in order to see how they would work together however the general feedback was that the black and white is most successful. Additionally it was suggested that instead of printing the cover the letters could be de-bossed in order to represent the hidden meaning of the song which is shown through the quote. I was also unsure as to wether to repeat the quote on the revers of the cover or keep it blank, however it was suggested that a vinyl sticker could be created featuring a pancake which would tie into the quote without using obvious imagery related to the song due to the abstract nature of the quote itself.
