Packaging experiments have been developed to help determine which design is most appropriate based on a traditional box net as this was found to be the most sturdy when tested (see figure 1). The two different colour variations have been applied to the packaging, with the blues looking best when printed. However the print quality of these tests was very limited making these test unreliable (see figures 2-4). In relation to the packaging design itself Avenier has been used in capitals to allow the name to stand out against the pattern. Although the pattern works well within a packaging format the design is very limited as there isn't much room for development. Feedback will be gained in order to identify any development points and to identify which approach is most appropriate for the target audience as I feel the use of the 90-degree rule is more suited for an older audience and has more adaptability within a brand identity compared to the pattern below.
