Final Crit Feedback
In order to finalise the poster design feedback was gained on the layout various and typography used to reach a final conclusion. Consequently I found most people favoured the simple use of typography (see figure 1) over more complex variations (see figure 2) with the placement of the typography and additional information in the bottom left corner as this balanced out the composition of the poster as some felt it looked too busy/centred with the typography in the bottom centre (see figure 3). It was also suggested that the information could also be cut out in the same way as the design in order to make the poster look more consistent which further supports the use of the more simple typography experimentation as it relates more closely to the designs within the posters. In addition it was also suggested that the posters may be more successful if cut out of black paper as this would allow the light to stand out more when shone through. However this may reduce the burn created when using the laser which would will create an interesting effect and further reference the light bulb. In relation to the A5 handouts most thought they worked successfully however thought the text on the back could be more central and bigger so that it may become slightly distorted when the image in embossed which would create a more interesting design.
