Overall the printing process for this publication went well as the white ink on black turned out really clear, registering with the black ink well so the mirrored type printed effectively (see figures 1-3). The only issue when printing was how to format the document as the black needed to be sent through as a registration colour, this was a process of trial and error due to the two inks used and the unusual size of the publication at B5. Having each colour printed at once allowed the reflection to register correctly as the only other way to achieve this effect would have been to feed the paper through the printer manually hoping it would align when printing. In relation to the pagination of the book it was difficult to order the pages correctly as they needed to be printed through illustrator rather than Indesign. This meant the pages had to be physically ordered correctly within the document as Illustrator can't order pages into a booklet. Therefore the pages were printed as single sheets rather than spreads(see figures 4-5), which was possible as the book will be perfect bound. This allowed the order process to be simplified as I just had to order that designs I wanted on the back of each page as I would order them during the binding process. This pagination issue only occurred with the black half of the publication as the white could simply be printed through Indesign as it was just a full-colour print rather than using white ink.
