In order to develop my initial ideas I gained feedback on my five initial designs. The most successful designs was figure 1 featuring Leonora Cohen due to the powerful use of typography and use of an interactive aspect linking the riot to modern issues (see figure 1). However it was suggested that the line through 'vote' could look as if the poster is saying take the vote away therefor I will experiment further with different ways to represent the concept that women have achieve the vote but still require equality. Furthermore this design could be pushed further by producing enough prints to that the design could be changed each day to address a different issue surrounding equality today or get those who visit the exhibition to write onto the poster each day. In addition figure 2 was also found to be very successful due to the use of typography which reflects that featured on protest signs used by the Suffragettes but also we could also be used today. In relation to my other experimentations (see figures 3-5) it was suggested that I could develop 3-d idea (see figure 4) further by re-creating the ticket from the pictograms (see figure 5) so people take away a section of the poster. Furthermore it was suggest to experiment with the use of one pictogram instead of a repeat pattern. It was also suggested that the figure 4 could be developed further to incorporate the 3-D aspect of figure 3.
