Luxury Coffee Brand: Final Cirt Feedback/ submission prep

Feedback was gained on my final designs before I went to print as this allowed me to experiment with any suggestions and make small alterations before re-printing. Feedback during the crit was mainly positive with the overall consensus being that the outcomes had been finished to a high standard. However some felt the different in line width could be more exaggerated as the closer the lines on the packaging the darker the roast, as there are only subtle differences. Therefor I experimented with altering the stroke width in order to create a more drastic contrast (see figure 1) however upon reflection I felt this took away from the consistency of the brand and ranges within. Other feedback gained stated that the outcomes presented where finished to a high standard to communicated a luxury brand effectively.

In order to start to develop submission boards I asked some questions as I was unsure as to what to include:

  • journey of designing, how did you get to final resolution
  • keep imagery that relates to final outcome
    • don't include colour changes as looks like a different range
  • key information:
    • concept
    • research
    • development
    • final outcome
  • could show how look on shelf
  • professional photos:
    • include coffee
