Singapore Exchange: Final Outcomes

Upon finalising the campaign Fleur and I have finalised the resolved outcomes by placing the animations onto Instagram and animating the Snapchat filters to create a more realistic representation. Overall the collection of outcomes allows for the formation of a consistant and impactful campaign to help tackle the issues associated with life under water such as shark finning and water pollution, successfully fulfilling the brief. The social media aspect of the campaign allows the animations and filters to successfully target the audience as Snapchat targets a younger generation 15-18 with Instagram targeting an older generation 18-30 years old. Furthermore the innocent nature of the animals featured within the animations allows for a more powerful connection to be made by viewers as they don't expect the animations to end in the death of the animal. This shows the viewer their impact on life under water, creating an impact that will hopefully evoke change such as an increase in the individual recycling or to stop eating shark fin soup. Targeting a younger audience allows the campaign to have a greater impact in the future as teach the younger generation about the consequences of these actions now, will help reduce the impact of pollution and shark finning on sea life in the further. Overall the campaign successfully targets these issues due to the dialogue of the animations and the distribution of material across social media platforms.
