Upon reflection of my designs (see figures 1-2) I've edited the colours within my final designs in order to create a more succinct brand as before the full sized boxes (see figure 1) where a different colour to the refill packs (see figure 2) which had to be black as this was the only pack colour I had access too. This lead to the decision to have black as the background colour with the roast colours being shown through the topography lines and type featured on each box (see figure 3-8). Furthermore this implementation of black allowed the issue of colour to be solved when designing the box that will hold the samples for the gift pack. Initial choosing a colour was difficult as the colours used within the branding relate to the roast so non of those could be used on the box design as the gift box contains all roasts, leading to the use of black and white (see figures 9-10). Overall I feel the final designs create a more luxurious aesthetic to the branding compared with the use of colours (see figure 1) which slightly cheapened the brand. In addition the use of colour on black allows the text and lines to stand out more as a greater contrast has been created. Furthermore in order to show these outcomes physically I plan on using a combination of metal and paper, with stickers being printed fro applications onto metal for the test tubes and foil lined packs.
