Secret 7 2018: Design Feedback

In order to identify which out of the three concepts (see figure 1-3) was the most successful I gain feedback from my tutor who thought the concepts behind each design where solid with those seen in figure 2 being most successful due to the abstract representation of the song through the use of the circles/ chords. Furthermore the design featuring circles with bars removed was the most successful as this was more abstract with my tutor agreeing that the use of the bar made the origin of the circles too clear, resulting in figure 4 being chosen as my final design. During this discussion it was suggested to combine the ideas (see figure 5) to see if they would work well together however we both felt these designs where too busy, with the combination being unnecessary as it failed to add anything to the design. In relation to any design alterations that need to be made my tutor felt the existing design was visually successful with no additional alternations being needed, with the orange and blue experimentation being chosen as the colours compliment each other well allowing the circles to stand out.
