Figure 1 was the design chosen within feedback as this was seen as the strongest outcome.

– hidden meaning works well as readers would easily understand it once they'd read to book, also those with a general interest will understand the story behind it too.

– Looks interesting, would attract a non-specialist reader. 

– Could make the turtle a little smaller to create more space around the blurb on the back.

– Successful combination of ideas, combines aesthetics of initial ideas with concept of more developed ideas.
