Product Range Distribution: Metahaven, A definition of now

Metahaven's a definition of now is a clever representation and comment on the current political situation across the world as it avoids obvious cliches associated with Brexit and Trump. The simplicity makes the design quite poignant as its an accurate, unobstructed representation of current times, making a powerful impact on the audience due to the direct nature of the design. The design also comments on the ridiculous and almost comical decisions that have been made within politics over the past year such as Trump becoming President and Britain leaving the EU, with some arguing where in a state of emergency.  Furthermore the simplicity of the design is what makes the design so successful as is encapsulates and communicates the designers message effectively as the focus on current events is unmistakable and very clear. This clarity and simplicity is something I plan to explore within my design as Metahaven have taken a complex issue that can often insight range when discusses and processed a simple and clear design showcasing an opinion many people share across the world.
