Beer Identities: Paper Treatment Experimentation

In order to showcase each personality through the treatment of the publication I've experimented with soaking Tyvek paper in beer for the amount of hours each personality would spend in the pub. For this experimentation the local has been used, therefor the paper was left for 12 hours as the local is usually in the pub all day. However as Tyvek has plastic woven into the paper to make it un-ripable it gives the paper a slightly waterproof aspect meaning the beer didn't really alter the paper within the 12 hours but just made it smell. In order to see if the paper would be effected I left the sample in for another 12 hours (see figure 1-2). This caused some colouration however this is still limited with the smell putting people off from reading the publication.  Consequently I plan to experiment with altering the layout, colours and typefaces used in order to showcase each personality rather than treating the paper as beer failed to effect the paper and chemicals identified during the brewing process are too dangerous to use within the publication. Furthermore these chemicals are not commonly associated with the brewing process which could cause some confusion by readers who are not likely to be familiar with the technicalities of the brewing process.
