Beer Identity: Initial Ideas

Upon receiving the brief and content for Beer Identities I've developed some initial ideas on different ways to present the content within a publication.

Initial Ideas:
Illustrations:
- illustrations representing each personality.
- guess the personality by the beer e.g; have the beer represent the personality
- simple line illustrations, not too detailed to allow for personal interpretation
- colour for each illustration could be swatch from the colour of the beer drank by that personality.

Layout:
- placement in the book could relate to the most popular/common personality.
- could peel away illustrations to stick to people
- personality could dictate the layout/design of the page
- layout could become less formal as the book goes on

Materials:

- cover could be made from beer matts.
- dimensions could be that of a beer matt either actual size or scaled up.
- made from a similar material to bottle labels
- emboss in a similar way as is on beer bottles
- paper made out of beer
- binding method reflect the brewing method
