Pagination

Pagination is the order to pages within a book/dividing a document into pages. This is especially important when preparing a publication for print as the number of pages need to be a multiple of four otherwise the book won't work. When considering pagination you need to consider the content and the order in which you want it to appear. This is fairly simple in basic publications, however when adding extra pages such as inserts into a publication pagination becomes more difficult as you have to account for the number of pages in which the inserts will sit between whilst making sure the publication still consists of the right number of pages in order to be printed.
