Studio Brief 3: Research, Leeds sister cities

Dortmund, Germany is a twin city to Leeds established in 1969 as both cities where interesting in maintaining the feeling of togetherness and to strengthen the ties between the two cities. This partnership has developed exchange programs and other opportunities for people within Leeds to engage with German culture. This tie has strengthened our brand name 'Raum' meaning space in German, which was originally chosen due to traditional prints heritage within Germany as the Gutenberg press was created there.
