Speaking from Experience: Initial Ideas

Brief:

Produce a graphic response/ graphic product /piece of work that makes a statement, comment, observation or gives advice about your experience on your first year of this course.

Work with any appropriate media or format and develop and identify the content will be entertaining, advisory or informative.

In order to respond to this brief, working in pairs we developed some initial ideas responding to the brief.

Struggles:
- getting a print slot
- deadline
- print room (busy)
- waking up
- timetable changes
- working in holidays
- COP + PPP
- adjusting to expectations (making mistakes)
- printing cost

Positives:
- new techniques
- new ways of thinking
- experimentation
- access other cause resources
- learn from practitioners
- trips
- visiting professional

Things we'd wish we had known:
- go early for print slot
- the library will be rammed on deadline day
- Uber is .95p between four
- estudio is really useful
- read studio brief
- keep up on blogging
- COP and PPP are real
