This article was interesting as it highlighted the negative impact that the stereotypes associated with masculinity and the man box can have. This highlighted how many men feel compelled to act and behave in a certain way in order to represent a 'real man' and are afraid to step outside of this stereotype. In realtion to the Adonis Complex this compulsion to act a certain way also transfers to feeling compelled to look a certain way too.
