EOYS: Group Meeting

In order to create a plan and choose an approach to the end of year show branding we met up as a group to discuss initial ideas and concepts.

Ideas/Concepts:

• Typeface per course 
• Doors are open - typographic based 
• Typeface based on support 
• College based 
• Arts and Crafts movement:
•  looking back at what the university was founded on and how those values are seen in a digital age 
• Coordinates:
• linking both buildings together and focusing on the idea of community and growth that links the two buildings 
• Alumni:
• todays graduates are tomorrows notable alumni, use shapes/forms from alumni work to create pattern 

As a group we decided to look mainly at the use of creating a pattern inspired by alumni work and the influence of the arts and craft movement on present students to showcase the progression the university and its students have gone through. Therefore we decided to each go away and develop ideas surrounding the use of arts and crafts and patterns, then meet up again to develop an outcome from these ideas.
